My name is Bill Ray and I survived Paxil.

In this day and age, My story is probably not unique. This is my “cathartic experience” in that, 5 years later I am able to begin to share.

If you find yourself here, we probably have something in common. Either you are on Paxil or other SSRIs and are looking for a way out of the addiction, maybe you are fed up with your present life and are wanting to start taking SSRI drugs for “relief” because you heard they were the “fix”, or are another person such as myself that found a way out of the dark dungeon that is SSRI addiction.

In the coming days, you will be privy to what I believe to be a “near miss” in the world of SSRI induced violence. What you will read is my truth. It is what I have experienced, what I have learned about this monster of a substance throughout my rehabilitation.

I did what most doctors warn you of- I stopped, cold-turkey. No More! It was hard and it took about 6 months to finally get past the storm. And it was totally worth it.

If I can talk You out of starting these substances, Please do NOT do this to yourself. There are many other options available to you. Maybe you just need to talk to someone. If you continually bury pain, it can & will spring forth at any moment and bite you hard.

Finally, I must tell you that this site intends NO RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION with any group, public or private. I am not associated with the church of…well…erm…I decline to say their name, lest I get sued. Those scientific people.

It is my wish that you are able to find the peace that you seek. I certainly have.
